About

I was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and grew up in northern Indiana Amish country. Long county roads and music have always shaped a lot of how I see the world.

My first real introduction to music came about eight years ago, when I got into lo-fi hip-hop and found some success making it. Over time I wanted to move somewhere different, and my sound shifted toward folk/country/rock songwriting influenced by Medium Build, Radiohead, Adrianne Lenker, Dominic Fike, and many others. For about four years I've been producing everything myself in my home studio.

Music runs in my family. My grandpa played in a lot of bands and was deep into blues, and that's what got me into instruments. I started on acoustic guitar around age ten, and playing on church worship teams for years taught me a lot about music and community.

I love gear, collecting it, making things, and collaborating with friends. Right now I'm working on my debut album in my home studio.
